Rafael is a Haitian young man who worked extremely hard to get an education. He walked a long distance on rocky dirt roads and crossing a dangerous highway to get to the school from elementary through high school. The Foundation gave Rafael assistance during those years and through college where he graduated as an industrial engineer. He is presently working as a professional and assisting other members in his family and “breaking the chain of poverty.”
